Hi, I’m Emmanuel. I’m a university student, so I live in the dorms. Today, I’m gonna show you how I get around my city.

Since I live on campus, I usually walk to class.

There is a supermarket opposite the university. I usually drive there.

There is a bank next to the supermarket. I usually ride my bike there.

I also have a job at a cafe downtown. Downtown is far from campus, so I usually drive to work. The cafe is between a convenience store and a pharmacy.

There’s a beautiful park near my job. I usually ride my bike there on my days off.

On the weekends, I like to go out with my friends. I usually take a taxi downtown. Sometimes I take the train or the bus.

That’s how I get around my city.

💬 Now it’s your turn!

  1. What places are near where you live?

  2. What places are far from where you live?

  3. How do you usually get to those places?
